Operation Admiral

'Admiral' was a German undertaking designed to effect the junction of the Kampfgruppe 'Breitholz' with SS-Oberführer Karl-Maria Demelhuber’s SS Kampfgruppe 'Nord' at Kiestinki in the north-western Karelian area of Soviet-occupied Finland soon after the start of the 'Jatkosota' (3/4 August 1941).
