Operation Cambridge

'Cambridge' was a British unrealised plan by Admiral Sir Bruce Fraser’s Home Fleet to simulate a major armed reconnaissance of Narvik on the north-western coast of German-occupied Norway as part of 'Fortitude' (28 May 1944).

The plan was to have been a repeat of 'Proteus' and to have followed 'Tiger Claw' using the same forces, but was cancelled as a result of adverse weather.
