'Cargo' (i) was a British convoy operation to steam six merchant vessels (7,248-ton Empire Egret, 7,775-ton Empire Fulmar, 6,551-ton Empire Oriole, 7,842-ton Empire Peregrine, 7,773-ton Empire Pintail and 6,736-ton Empire Widgeon) from Norfolk, Virginia, to the Clyde river (25 October/4 November 1941).
