This was a British pair of radio deception operations within 'Fortitude North' (12/15 April 1944).

Simulating an amphibious exercise involved the warships, transport vessels and landing craft of the naval Force 'V' and the land units of Major General E. Hakewill-Smith’s 52nd Division, 'Carrot I' of 12 April and 'Carrot II' of 15 April were intended to suggest that this British offensive capability was being readied for an amphibious descent on a target area on the west coast of German-occupied Norway.
