Operation Carton (i)

'Carton' (i) was a British convoy operation of seven Allied merchant ships in the Mediterranean (British 4,653-ton African Prince, 4,108-ton Fairwater, 1,236-ton Iceland, 5,252-ton Loch Dee and 7,219-ton Samphire, Dutch 3,357-ton Antonia and US 7,176-ton Lyman Abbott) (summer 1944).
