'Cogitate' was an Allied unrealised plan for an offensive against the Axis forces of Generalfeldmarschall Erwin Rommel’s (from 10 March Generaloberst Hans-Jürgen von Arnim’s) Heeresgruppe 'Afrika' in Tunisia (winter/spring 1943).
