Operation CT (i)

'CT' (i) was the designation of British military troopshop convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying from the UK to Canada, and as such reciprocals of the 'TC' (i) series (August 1941/June 1942).

The first of this 'Canada Troopship' series was CT.1 of 8/15 August 1941 from the Clyde river to Halifax, Nova Scotia, with the 20,119-ton British Duchess of Atholl and 23,722-ton British Stratheden carrying 3,391 troops, and the last was CT.17 of 3/11 June 1942 from the Clyde river to Halifax, Nova Scotia, with the 13,595-ton British Letitia.
