'Detained II' was the Allied landing of a comparatively large force of Yugoslav partisans on Solta island, off the Dalmatian coast of German-occupied Yugoslavia near Vis island, in five British infantry landing craft, and then their withdrawal after they had swept the island for any German forces (8/10 May 1944).
