'Drygoods' was the US logistical build-up on the islands of Guadalcanal and Tulagi at the south-western end of the Solomon islands group in preparation for operations against the Japanese in the Russell islands group in 'Cleanslate' and then New Georgia island in 'Toenails' (February 1943).
