Operation EH (ii)

'EH' (ii) was a British naval undertaking for the relief and support of the Anglo-Canadian garrison on the island of Spitsbergen off the northern coast of German-occupied Norway (14 September 1943).

The operation involved the battleship Anson, US light fleet carrier Ranger, heavy cruiser Norfolk, and destroyers Hardy, Janus, Vigilant and Canadian Haida and Iroquois.
