'Feuerzauber' (ii) was a German programme to create new first-line formations from the various training staffs of Generaloberst Friedrich Fromm’s Ersatzheer and so offset some of the losses which had been sustained during the first stages of 'Barbarossa' (5 October 1941 onward).
