Operation Frog

'Frog' was a British unrealised special forces raid against a coastal artillery target on the northern coast of German-occupied France as part of 'Neptune' (iii) (June 1944).

The operation was to have been undertaken by No. 46 (Royal Marine) Commando transported to and from the target area by one small infantry landing ship carrying eight assault landing craft (LCAs) and one hand-hoisting infantry landing ship carrying six LCAs, escorted and supported by one harbour defence motor launch, two rocket-armed tank landing craft and two support large landing craft.
