Operation Glover (ii)

'Glover' (ii) was the British overall designation of clandestine naval undertakings along the coast of German-occupied France (1944).

The 'Glover 5', 'Glover 6', 'Glover 7', 'Glover 8' and 'Glover 9' operations were each undertaken by Lieutenant C. Mason’s MGB-318 of the 15th Motor Gun Boat Flotilla on the Ile Grande, successfully on 17 June to collect mail, unsuccessfully on 16 July to land stores and collect mail, successfully on 23 July to land stores and collect mail, successfully on 29 July to collect an agent and mail, and successfully on 5 August to take back the agent collected on 29 July.
