Operation Oboe V

'Oboe V' was an Allied unrealised plan for elements of Lieutenant General Sir Leslie Morshead’s Australian I Corps to retake British Borneo and to consolidate the Allied hold on other islands of the Japanese-occupied Netherlands East Indies after the completion of other operations in the 'Oboe' series (May 1945).

The entire concept was rendered superfluous by the surrender of Japan in August 1945.
