'Quaver' was the British parachute delivery, within the 'Scale' series of operations, of a two-man Special Operations Executive party and its stores (six containers and six packages) into the northern part of German-occupied Norway to liaise with local elements about the withdrawal of German forces from northern Norway (16/17 October 1944 onward).
