'Razzle' was a British unsuccessful attempt, in parallel with 'Decker', by Air Marshal Sir Charles Portal’s RAF Bomber Command to start major fires by dropping large numbers of Razzle incendiary bomblets (wooden strips coated with white phosphorus) on fields of crops and in woodlands in the Hohes Harz, Schwarz and Thuringian forests (summer 1940).
