Operation Regent

'Regent' was a British special forces operation by the Belgian Independent Parachute Company (5th Special Air Service) to support British armoured forces tasked with finding and destroying any German effort to break out to the north during 'Wacht am Rhein' (27 December 1944/15 January 1945).

Commanded by Capitaine Edouard Blondeel, the whole of the unit was used in this Jeep-mounted task to provide assault troop support for the armour in the heavily wooded region of St Hubert and Burl.
