Operation Seccotine

'Seccotine' was a British operation to strengthen the defensive forces in and around Freetown, the capital and major port of Sierra Leone in West Africa, and a key point on the long and potentially vulnerable British convoy route between the UK and India, the Far East and Australasia (1940/41).
