Operation Stonechat

'Stonechat' was a British operation by the Special Operations Executive for H. Lund to travel overland from Stockholm in neutral Sweden work as radio operator in the vicinity of Rena in the Østerdalen (June/October 1943).

Radio contact was established in September, but there were many technical problems and by October Lund was back in Stockholm. The following spring an attempt was made to set up 'Stonechat Green', but the operative was captured and the undertaking was replaced by 'Chicken', which came on air in September 1944.
