Operation SWb Wagner

'SWb Wagner' was a German naval minelaying operation between the eastern coast of England at Orfordness and the Dutch coast at Scheveningen (23/24 January 1941).

The ships involved were the minelayers Roland, Cobra, Kaiser and Skagerrak, escorted by the destroyer Richard Beitzen and torpedo boats Iltis and Seeadler. At the end of the minelaying, the destroyer and torpedo boats passed western along the English Channel to Brest at the tip of the Brittany peninsula in German-occupied France, where they arrived on 28 January.
