Operation TB (i)

This was the designation of Allied military convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from the USA across the Pacific Ocean to Sydney, Australia, as part of the troop and supply build-up and subsequent support of forces in this vital backing of General Douglas MacArthur’s South-West Pacific Area command (January 1942/1945).
