Operation Theodor

Theodore

'Theodor' was the designation of German military convoys plying the short crossing between Kerch in Crimea and Temryuk on the Taman peninsula on the southern shore of the Sea of Azov in the southern USSR to supply Generaloberst Erwin Jaenecke’s 17th Army in the period before it was evacuated from its Taman lodgement in the 'Krimhilde-Bewegung' (January/October 1943).
