Operation Toreador

'Toreador' was a British unrealised plan for a two-division airborne operation in the central part of Japanese-occupied Burma, in the region of Mandalay, to open the way for Lieutenant General Sir William Slim’s British 14th Army to move toward 'Extended Capital' in its reconquest of Burma (late 1944).
