Operation ABS

'ABS' was an Allied single convoy between Algiers and Bougie in French North Africa (10/11 November 1942).

Undertaken in the immediate aftermath of 'Torch', the convoy comprised five British merchant vessels in the form of the 8,265-ton Dewdale, 7,479-ton Glenfilas, 7,174-ton Ocean Volga, 5,969-ton Stanhill and 6,852-ton Urlana.
