'AS2' was a British naval sweep against U-boats thought to be patrolling in the Western Approaches (9/10 September 1939).

The force departed Plymouth, and was based on the fleet carrier Courageous escorted by the destroyers Ardent, Echo and Kempenfelt, but discovered no U-boat activity.
