Operation Boots

'Boots' was a British unrealised plan, later revived and somewhat modified as 'Hammer', for an amphibious frontal assault to retake the Norwegian port city of Trondheim after its 'Wildente' (i) seizure by the Germans as part of 'Weserübung Nord' (April 1940).

The initial plan was abandoned on 19 April.
