Operation Falke (i)

'Falke' (i) was the German component of 'Grün' (iii) concerned with a breakthrough of the French defences of the 'Ligne Maginot' near Zweibrücken to open the way for a limited advance from Kreutzwald to Hornbach by the forces of Generaloberst Wilhelm Ritter von Leeb’s Heeresgruppe 'C' (10/15 May 1940).
