Operation HM (ii)

'HM' (ii) was the designation of Allied coastal convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Holyhead to Milford Haven in Wales, and as such reciprocals of the 'MH' series (December 1941/February 1943).

The first of the series was HM.1 of 26/26 December 1941 with the 691-ton British Cardak, 1,590-ton Norwegian Dux, 1,239-ton British Marianne II, 795-ton British Pass of Leny and 1,482-ton Swedish Trio, and the last was HM.125 of 26/27 February 1943 with the 4,913-ton British Basil.
