The 'Iltis-Stellung' was the German initial fallback line associated with the disengagement of Generaloberst Karl-Adolf Hollidt’s 6th Army of Generaloberst Josef Harpe’s Heeresgruppe 'A' in the southern sector of the Eastern Front, about 10 miles (16 km) to the west of the Dniepr river (8/10 March 1944).
