'Indien' was a German small-scale and wholly impractical planning exercise, instigated by Adolf Hitler, to consider the movement of German forces across northern Iran into Afghanistan for a campaign against India following the successful conclusion of 'Barbarossa' (17 February 1941/September 1942).
