'Koblenz' was a US tactical deception by the 23^rd Headquarters Special Troops, which simulated Major General Fay B. Prickett’s US 75h Division within the context of a feint down the Mosel river valley toward Koblenz on the Rhine river until it was terminated as the Germans launched their 'Wacht am Rhein' offensive through the Ardennes (6/14 December 1944).
