'L' (ii) was an Italian convoy operation across the Mediterranean (9/11 July 1942).
One of three single-ship convoys, of which the other two were the 'N' and 'O' movements, this was undertaken from an Aegean Sea port to Benghazi in North Africa. The convoys were escorted by the destroyers Folgore, Freccia, Lampo and Saetta, and the torpedo boats Calliope, Orsa, Pallade and Polluce, and all reached their destinations safely.
