Operation Pomorze


'Pomorze' was a Soviet special forces operation to parachute a 12-man party of the Polish Independent Special Battalion (Assault) into the Brodnica area of German-occupied Poland on a reconnaissance mission (6 September 1944 onward).

On the same day an 11-man party had been dropped into the Sokolowo area for the same task, and on the following day a 12-man party followed into the Ewina for the same task.
