The 'Schanzen-Bewegung' was the German programme to conceal the intent behind the movements of forces, weapons and supplies by rail toward the Polish frontier in preparation for 'Weiss' (i) by suggesting that these movements were associated with defensive rather than offensive measures (26 June/31 August 1939).
