Operation Seydlitz (ii)

'Seydlitz' (ii) was a U-boat wolfpack operation in the Atlantic against the HG.78 convoy (27 December 1941/16 January 1942).

The wolfpack comprised U-71, U-84, U-93, U-203, U-373, U-552 and U-571, and for the loss of Kapitänleutnant Horst Elfe’s U-93, which fell victim to the destroyer Hesperus of Commander A. A. Tait’s escort group on 15 January, sank no ship.
