Operation SH

'SH' was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical and sometimes a literal suffix) plying the route from Sydney, Newfoundland, to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and as such reciprocals of the 'HS' series (May 1942/May 1945).

The first of the 259 such convoys was SH.1 of 15 May 1942 with one ship, and the last was SH.223A of 25/26 May 1945 with one ship.
