Operation Stork

'Stork' was a British operation by the Special Operations Executive to organise and train groups in the Sognefjord area of German-occupied Norway in weapons and resistance tactics, link with existing groups, receive weapons, and prepare the protection of local power stations and telephone exchanges (4/8 May 1945).

A. Rosenberg, J. Holvik and J. Heyerdahl-Larsen were landed from the sea only days before the German surrender, and had no opportunity to undertake their task.
