Operation Throstle

'Throstle' was a British operation by the Special Operations Executive to deploy a team to work as weapons instructors for the Milorg military resistance organisation in German-occupied Norway on the eastern side of Oslo under the command of the 'Thrush' party (January/autumn 1944).

This two-man party, comprising H. Hanson and A. Veda, worked in an area to the east of Oslo, and in the summer of 1944 helped in the sabotage of petrol and oil stores in the area.
