Operation Akk Berta

'Akk Berta' was a German unrealised contingency plan for implementation in the event that the Soviet forces launched a pre-emptive attack, using ground and airborne forces, against Generalfeldmarschall Fedor von Bock’s Heeresgruppe 'Mitte' immediately before the Germans' implementation of their own 'Barbarossa' invasion of the western USSR (May/June 1941).
