Operation Cadboll II

'Cadboll' (ii) was a British deception operation intended as successor to 'Cadboll' (i) within the larger 'Fortitude North' (1944).

This 'Cardboll II' operation was designed to indicate the movement of Lieutenant General G. W. R. Templer’s II Corps, which had been technically disestablished in July 1943, in the area of East Anglia round Cambridge, which it would be well placed for embarkation in operations against Norway or the Pas de Calais. The operation was succeeded by 'Tweezer'.
