'Frühlingsreigen' was a German operation against partisans operating in the rear areas of Generalfeldmarschall Günther von Kluge’s Heeresgruppe 'Mitte' and thereby adversely affecting the flow of reinforcements and supplies to the army group’s formations as they prepared themselves for 'Zitadelle' in the German-occupied western part of the USSR (June 1943).
