'Habicht' (iv) was the German alternative designation for 'Falke' (iii), a supplementary envelopment operation in the Don river bend, planned for implementation by General Werner Kempf’s Armeeabteilung 'Kempf' within Generalfeldmarschall Erich von Manstein’s Heeresgruppe 'Süd' in the area to the east of Kharkov, but then absorbed into 'Zitadelle' proper (May 1943).
