Operation Ruff

'Ruff' was a British operation by the Special Operations Executive to establish a radio station on the coast of German-occupied Norway in the area of Sognefjord and thereby improve communication with the reception committees which were organising the collection of supplies and pick-ups (4/8 May 1945).

H. Brandt was landed from the sea only a few days before the German surrender, and therefore had no opportunity to achieve his task.
