Operation WMP

'WMP' was the designation of Allied military convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from the Isle of Wight to northern France in the months after the Allied forces' break-out from their 'Overlord' lodgement in Normandy (November/December 1944).

The first of these five convoys was WMP.37 of 28/29 November to Le Havre with two ships, and the last was WMP.41 of 2/3 December with one ship.
