'Acquaint' was a British undertaking to intercept, record and later decrypt the radio traffic to and from an S-boot operating off the coast of German-occupied Belgium (1944).

The object of the undertaking was to use the decrypted signal traffic as a tool in the improvement of the Allies' ability to penetrate German encrypted radio traffic.
