'AH' (ii) was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route from Malta or Augusta, Sicily, to ports on the heel of Italy (October 1943/January 1945).
The first of these convoys was AH.2 of 6/10 October 1943 with the 3,357-ton Dutch Antonia and 7,237-ton British Essex Trader, and the last was AH.90 of 8/9 January 1945 with the 7,218-ton US Charles A. Wickliffe, 7,134-ton British Fort Lawrence, 7,178-ton British Ocean Rider and 10,172-ton US The Cottonwoods.
