'AM' (ii) was the designation of Allied convoys (together with a numerical suffix) plying the route between Algiers or Oran, French North Africa, and the south of France for 'Dragoon' (i) and its immediate aftermath (August/October 1944).
The first of these 15 convoys was AM.1 of 10/15 August 1944 with 23 British and US merchant vessels as well as the 6,250-ton US destroyer tender Denebola, and the last was AM.15 of 21/23 October 1944 with the 2,852-ton British Empire Brook and 7,157-ton British Fort Clatsop.
