'Auster' (ii) was a German naval minelaying operation to the north-west of the island of Elba in the Ligurian Sea off the western coast of Italy by ex-Italian torpedo boats of Korvettenkapitän Wirich von Gartzen’s 10^th Torpedoboots-Flottille (8/9 April 1944).
