'Bracelet' (ii) was the inter-Allied 2nd Moscow Conference between the major powers (12/17 August 1942).
At this conference, Winston Churchill, the British prime minister, Averell Harriman, the special representative of the US President’s Special Mission to Moscow, and Premier Iosif Stalin planned the next stage of the North African campaign and discussed the later landing and opening of a 'second front' by the Western Allies in the northern part of German-occupied France.
