'Brunhild' was the German unrealised plan for the evacuation of the Kuban bridgehead in the Caucasus region of the southern USSR by Generaloberst Erwin Jaenecke’s 17th Army (9/12 September 1943).
The undertaking was on realised on 12 September, by which time it had been redesignated as the 'Krimhilde-Bewegung'.
